I’ve been tagged by the dog for an “8 Random Things About Me” meme. And when the dog barks, people listen! The rules are:
- Post these rules before you give your facts
- List 8 random facts about yourself
- At the end of your post, choose (tag) 8 people and list their names, linking to them
- Leave a comment on their blog, letting them know they’ve been tagged
Ok, here are my 8 random facts:
- I may have one of the world’s most comprehensive Smurf collections (including collector’s cases, boxes, colorforms, you name it)
- The first three movies I saw on HBO, in this order, were Attack of the Killer Tomatoes, Grease, and The Omen
- During my undergraduate years I spent a Summer in Alaska working on a crabbing boat and got fired for “insubordination” (perhaps one of the few people who went to Alaska to make money and came back owing my brother $300)
- When living in NY I ate pizza at least once a day
- I recently bought the original Weeble’s Haunted House on e-bay
- I saw The Wild Bunch at the Cinerama Dome in LA -possibly the best movie going experience I had in my adult life
- My brother and I built an 8 foot high and 16 foot wide half-pipe for skateboarding in our backyard on Long Island
- I wore a cast on my arm for 3 1/2 of the 4 years of high school
