This type of self-discovered art has always humored & fascinated me, & is echoed in the sometimes overly-metaphoric, sometimes brilliant Found magazine (http://www.foundmagazine.com/) & a site I recently stumbled across, the hilarious http://www.passiveaggressivenotes.com.
It’s like reality TV but without the implied, self-certain audience, or a documentary film without the motive. Found art is either the only true art, the last bastion of art’s future, or worthless trash. Sometimes it’s all three of these things at once.
    It’s stupid, it’s genius.
