    Gorgeous, Jim. Now I’d need a crash class on all the movies in the tribute, wouldn’t I?

    Awesome, thanks for sharing! (Even though I wish they had included something from Kiss of Death.) Missed you @ the Culpeper double feature.

    Elizabeth,

    Yeah, Kiss of Death is a classic, and Richard Widmark as Tommy Udo (the psychopathic killer hunting down Victor Mature)is one of my favorite performances in all of noir.

    As for Bava in Culpepper, I’m afraid I bit off my then I can chew as ussual, I was feverishly finishing the work on my house before we moved in on November 1st. it was a roller coaster ride, and I am bummed I missed it, you got all the glory of bava in 35 mm, and that is no small reward for your time and travel :)

    @Elizabeth I think there’s some Kiss of Death in there. I thought I saw Widmark from that film towards the end.

    @Mikhail,

    I think I saw it, right around 5:43 he is walking down the stairs all beat up, is that right?
