I am working on a redesign for UMW Blogs, and as I was testing the site I noticed that a sitewide tag cloud that is not the home blog has none of these issues. I don't know the cause nor the solution. Now I wait for Donncha and Thomas to upgrade the Sitewide Tags plugin. I'm still scarred from deleting towsands of posts after tinkerin with this plugin already. I release the widget in hopes we get a plugin update soon. That’s good. It is quite the combination of greatness, beautifully conceeved, designed, and executed. Now, I turned off custom permalinks like you instructed and the tags now work. As for the tags blog, I can confirm the "Custom Fields" and "Key=Permalink," etc. show up as you said. Is this something that will mess up the link on the tags blog? It seems to be working fine? Is, perhaps, the custom field recording this because the original was using a different permalink structure than the tag blog? Ignorantly yours ;) DSader,
