These two clips for me frame just how beautiful the internet is for nostalgia hungry film junkies from the 80s. Fright Night is a great vampire flick, indeed, and it is interesting to me how much it is influenced by Carpenter&#039;s The Thing when it comes to special effects.  In fact, there is a paper to be written about how Carpenter&#039;s The Thing changed effects in terms of horror/sci-fi films even more than Alien.

I&#039;d love to be around for one of those 80s spin fests!</description>
