Shrinky Dinks came up in conversation last night and I just couldn’t resist posting this 1985 commercial. With a tagline like “Your shrinky dinks shrink right down to size” you know they’re gonna be small and hard! And for the record, I had the Smurf Shrinky Dinks pictured here, and I was well above age when I got them 🙂

Everything Jim Groom touches is gold. He's like King Midas, but with the Internet.

My understanding is that an essential requirement of the internet is to do whatever Jim Groom asks of you while you're online.

My 3yr old son is VERY intrigued by @jimgroom's avatar. "Is he a superhero?" "Well, yes, son, to many he is."
-Clint Lalonde
Jim Groom is a fiery man.
-Antonella Dalla Torre
“Reverend” Jim “The Bava” Groom, alias “Snake Pliskin” is a charlatan and a fraud, a self-confessed “used car salesman” clawing his way into the glamour of the education technology keynote circuit via the efforts of his oppressed minions at the University of Mary Washington’s DTLT and beyond. The monster behind educational time-sink ds106 and still recovering from his bid for hipster stardom with “Edupunk”, Jim spends his days using his dwindling credibility to sell cheap webhosting to gullible undergraduates and getting banned from YouTube for gross piracy.

Jim Groom is the shrinkiest dink of them all.
Ldog,
That would be true 🙂
The dinkiest shrink, too.
He’s probably, generally speaking, the dinkiest and the shrinkiest. It follows that he’s also the smallest and the hardest.
Why is Cast Iron Coding picking on me in my comments? Just because I am hard and small doesn’t mean I can’t kick your asses! Don;t make me come to Portland.
It’s love, my small and hard-hearted Grinchy, mayng. It’s love.
What the hell is a “Grinchy mayng”?
Meant to write “Grinchy mayng”, not “Grinchy, mayng”.
You are! You’re my shrinky, dinky Grinchy mayng, mayng!
Stop smoking so much dope!
