“Come and Play with Us” Diorama all but done
In the two weeks since being visited by Canadian angels I was able to finish up the “Come and Play with Us” Bav-O-Rama featuring the scene where Danny encournters the Grady sisters in the hallway. It was a tour de force to put it together so quickly and I’m glad it’s done because I can now get back to my regular life. I could feel part of me transforming into a timeless, psychotic resort caretaker. That said, besides obsessing over every detail, it was a blast to create it and I learned a ton along the way. I’ve got a lot to share from the process, but right now I’m exhausted so I’m just going to put this post on my blog as proof I met a self-imposed end of May deadline. YEAH!

“Come and play with us, Trento”. Another fantastic addition to the BMOCA – Bava Museum of Contemporary Art. And the hanging light really ties the room together. Hope the video tour is coming soon – after you recover!
Andy,
I’ll definitely get a video tour posted this week. I just finished a pretty detailed narrated slide show in Flickr that I will take the descriptions from each picture and re-work as a post sometime this week. So the documentation is underway. I also want to get specifics on what I bought and how much it all costs, so we’ll see what I can get posted.
It was a pretty fun diorama, and I am already dreaming of the next one.
YEAH! YEAH! YEAH! It rocks! I love it and I can’t believe how quickly this came together. Long live the creative space 🙂
Creative spaces are everything, and I want to thank you for the encouragement on this whole idea of a physical bavatuesdays from day 1. I was not sure my idea made any sense, but after pulling this beauty together I am beginning to think it is the only thing that does make sense right now 🙂 #4life
