Today’s live broadcast was an introduction to a wide range of examples, genres, and possibilities with web video. The talk was based on Tom Woodward‘s list of videos here as well as the presentation for ds106 he delivered last semester—which you can listen to here. Be sure to check out those resources and be sure to watch the video included above of the live broadcast.
The assignments for the video portion of this class are as follows:
- Install any necessary software tools for your video story
- Work on your video storytelling assignment (due Tuesday, 7/19). Choose two of the following to complete:
- Video Essay
- Digital Story Compilation
- Choose Your own Video Adventure (See more examples here.)
Don’t like any of these assignments? Make up your own video assignment, blog about what you’re going to do by Saturday 7/16, and make sure to submit it as an assignment idea on the main DS106 site.
