Blinders

Blinders

Just some more conceptual art from the bava. Remember now, I’m an artist.

  1. I like it. To me the picture represents American Exceptualism, which is a good thing to me. It represents the fact that we have become the only civilization to not act as Dictators and Communists like the rest of the world. And by doing that we have created the greatest civilization to ever exist. Tunnel vision and doing it our way is how we became the best. Trying to be like the rest of the world is what’s starting to tear us down.

    As Erykah Badu says: “Now remember that I’m an artist, & I’m sensitive about my shit.”

    On another note: I think the perfect birthday gift for your kids would be mutton chops. You have time to mold them.

    @Erica,

    And that is why it’s art! I could imagine a quite different interpretation, one where traffic mongering domains have myriad images of a woman undressing in front of a mirror as the tunnel vision of capital that ultimately brings you and I into contact with one another—and precipitates the fall of “the greatest civilization ever to exist.” Thanks for the cheap thrill, I mean, what does it really cost anyway?

    I have one word for you Jim, Chinzilla. šŸ˜›

    …and many interpretations there are. I looked at the image and thought to myself “Yep, that’s pretty much it.” But not necessarily for the positive reasons that Erica mentions.

    I was born in Southern California and lived there for the first 27 years of my life. Most of my family still resides in the US. But I tell you what, the United States looks a whole lot different from the outside.

    It’s gotten a whole better since the changing of the guard in the White House though – no doubt about that.

    It’s a bit complicated, ain’t it šŸ™‚

  6. Reverend says:

    @Mike,

    It needs to be complicated, cause it’s bavart! Yeah, being American is a gift from God we should not take lightly. The chosen people must use their unchecked power wisely.
