Why do I like returning to NYC for events like CUNY WordcampEd? Well, for one I get treated like the Citizen Kane of Educational Technology which ain’t no small thing. CUNY is currently constructing a Xanadu just for me! What a day, I just have to say that.

Rev, you rule. Union Forever!!!!
And whatchu mean “new”?
The image is mind blowing! Mind blowing I say!
Madness! Madness! Madness!
Jim, you rock. Seriously. That image says it all 🙂
“If the headline’s big enough, it makes the news big enough…”
For those who missed it, here’s Rev’s sermon at CUNY WordCampEd, thanks to Dave Lester’s quick ustreaming.
I especially like the part where he talks about how awesome I am.
@Mikhail,
Rosebud!
@Lloyd & Cogdog,
Mindblowing madness!
@Mike,
Meaning I am a yellow journalist? That may be all too true! 🙂
@Chris,
I can always count on you! News has not really changed that much in the end when you think about it, especially on the bava 🙂
@Luke,
Not enough of you to go around, and if I had Kane’s pockets, instructional technologists would be the the World’s quickest growing sector.
Jim, you should know CUNY well enough to know that if we build a Xanadu, it’s going to end up as some sort of hippie commune. If your Xanadu is sponsored by Blackboard Inc, on the other hand, then all the CUNY instructional technologists will probably end up as your manservants. Sweet!
I’m in need of a few good manservants 🙂 Pleasure meeting you finally Boone, and I am sure it is the beginning of just many occasions for debauchery and Bb bashing.
That was one for the ages, Jimmy. CUNY was simmering, simmering, simmering; you brought it to a boil!
@Matt,
I’ll play Emerson to your Whitman any day, though what is amazing is how quickly and fluidly those roles constantly change. CUNY will lead the way cause of folks like you!
