Porbeagle shark caught on video

Diver has a close-encounter with a Porbeagle shark off the coast of Maine—as well as the video to prove it.

Thank you Barbara Sawhill for helping my phobia extend further up the East Coast of the US into those cold and frightening New England waters.

Yeah. see, I live up here by the Bay of Fundy and there’s a reason I don’t go swimming in the ocean….

    *shivers*

  2. Reverend says:

    Andrea,

That’s right, the Porbeagle shark is particularly Canadian, i.e., cold-blooded šŸ™‚

  3. Gretchen says:

It’s kind of hard to see what’s happening, but shark attacks are definitely scary!

  4. Reverend says:

    Gretchen,
You can see just enough to make you afraid of the water forever šŸ˜‰

  5. Carlie says:

I think that’s the point, the fact that you don’t see the shark until it opens its jaws for the attack. Glad someone else is as fascinated by sharks as I am.
